It’s the Best Day Ever to Start Cosmetology Training

Have you been dreaming of a career that feels creative and full of possibility? Our locally-owned, female-run school is built by professional hairdressers who believe your dream is worth taking seriously. Cosmetology training can help you get there. At Noe’ Noonan School of Cosmetology, our goal is to help students build real skills and confidence that help them create a career path that leaves room for joy outside the salon, too.

Our Cosmetology Program

Our 1,250-hour Cosmetology Program can teach you skills in hair, makeup, skincare, and nails while building professional habits needed in a salon environment. That includes client communication and maintaining strong service standards. After completing our training, you can be eligible to sit for the Pennsylvania State Cosmetology License exam.

Complete your training in as little as eight months. Classes form throughout the year, so if you are ready to invest in yourself, contact our team to reserve your spot in the next course. We’re excited to help you take those next steps!

Going Beyond the Basics of Cosmetology Training

Building these skills is only part of the story, and our priority is to help students become well-rounded in all aspects so that they are career-ready upon graduation. We use the Beauty as a Business program to teach skills in social and digital marketing and how to promote yourself to potential clients.

We take your training even further with The Power Journey, a goal-setting and personal development experience created by Noe’ Noonan founders Kayla and Dianna. It’s designed to help students build habits that support their professional success while maintaining personal balance. Think critical conversations, learning gratitude, and goal planning. It’s about learning personal skills needed both in and out of the salon.

Graduate with the tools you need to make a difference in your life, your family’s future, and the community around you.

Cosmetology FAQs

How long is the Cosmetology Program?

The cosmetology program is 1,250 hours, as required by the state of Pennsylvania for cosmetologist licensing. The state also requires you to complete those hours in no less than eight months, along with meeting other program requirements. How long it takes you to complete the training will depend on your attendance and personal progress. A tour of the school is the best way to get an accurate idea of your schedule and a realistic graduation date.

What makes Noe' Noonan different from other beauty colleges?

We’re locally owned and female-run, built by professional hairdressers Diane Noe’ and Kayla Noonan, who take both culture and curriculum seriously. Our students get the fundamentals they need, then we build on them with additional educational opportunities and personal development. To feel the difference for yourself, schedule a Discovery Tour with our team.

Do you offer financial aid?

Yes, financial aid is available to those who qualify. We offer Title IV funding and accept Veterans’ Benefits and private student loans. Your first step is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Once we receive that information, our team can walk you through what you may qualify for and the next steps in building a financial plan for your training.

What's included in the student kit?

The student kit includes professional tools, materials, and supplies you need to complete your cosmetology training. You’ll also receive a uniform and books in both print and digital form. If you’d like a complete list of what’s included in the student kit, contact our team.

What curriculum do you use?

We use the Pivot Point curriculum, which includes both digital and printed materials for all learning types. Along with this core curriculum, we also offer Power Journey to help you live your best life and Beauty as a Business to give you business fundamentals you’ll need in a beauty career.
